It's Always January

Seems to me that if I can count on one month out of the year to be a drag, it's usually January...good news is that we are halfway through it!
Now let me just be a typical girl for this next blog. Not counting on any guys to truly care or read this, but before getting into anything with me this is what they should be aware of:
1. If I introduce myself to you as Ronnie and you STILL call me Veronica because it's "sexier", your chances with me will greatly decrease. Those who know me well know that Ronnie is a better fitting name for myself, as I am not mysterious or sexy at all!
2. I overanalyze everything to the point where I drive my own self nuts.
3. If you can make me laugh your chances with me will greatly increase.
4. I am hate games and guessing. If you like me tell me and act like it, if you don't, leave me alone and don't lead me on! It's as simple as that.
5. I am extremely shy until we have spent a little time together. After that I have the most random and hyper personality. If you are too serious you will not like me!
6. Getting random presents makes me feel awkward.
7. Don't let the first compliment you give me be that I have big boobs. And don't let the first thing you wanna do with me be something sexual.
8. I hula hoop and color in coloring books. I love sparkles and flowers and pink and unicorns. I'm still kind of a 6 year old sometimes.
9. If you sing to me I will be enchanted by you. I love boys who love music.
10. I absolutely hate making decisions.
If you're reading this and you're a guy you're either interested in how to woo me, think my random thoughts are entertaining, or are wondering if some of these things are mentioned because of you. In the case of the last, if you are wondering then yes it probably is about you. Ya stupid ducks and plaids, you know who you are!! Haha. Good day! :)

Better Late!!

Yes, I know 2011 ended 13 days ago, however, I still am going to do a little questioney recap of my wonderful year!

What did you do in 2011 that you’d never done before?
Graduated high school, lived away from home, worked at a retail store, went to college, lived in a tiny room, laundry, made my own doctor's appointments....etc.....college = culture shock when you have a Momma and Daddy who do so much for you!

Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
My resoultion list was ridonkulous. Mediate every day? Record my songs? Read the whole Bible? I did none. And I have never meditated in my life by the way...I don't know what I was thinking with that one.

Did anyone close to you give birth?
Sister-in-law Jen and sister Brianna!!! Auntie time!

Did anyone close to you die?
Thankfully, no.

What countries did you visit?
Canada...twice!

What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
Well...I would like to LACK toxic relationships in 2012 that I HAD in 2011. But I would like to HAVE a better relationship with God, a better body, and more fun that I LACKED.
(ALL CAPS WAS UNNECESSARY FOR THAT I REALIZE HAHA :))

What dates from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
March 6, Skylar was born. May 22, I graduated from high school. July 7, Haylie was born. August 1. And December 31!

What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Going to International Science and Engineering Fair in California (nerd, I know) and graduating high school!!

What was your biggest failure?
I held onto a very toxic relationship for way too long and let it destroy me when I should have spent the time wasted on other things.

Did you suffer illness or injury?
Don't believe so! I'm a lucky girl!

What was the best thing you bought?
Well Momma and Daddy got me the iPhone but I guess the best thing I bought was my college education...how corny and boring!

Where did most of your money go?
College.

What did you get really excited about?
Living with Brookie and Jeremy this summer, all the insane awesome people I have met since I left Sunburst in May, and my two beautiful nieces being born!

What song will always remind you of 2011?
YOU AND IIIII....YOU YOU AND IIIII!
BOY YOU GOT MY HEART BEAT RUNNING AWAY!
PARTY ROCKIN IN THE HOUUUUSEEE TONIIIGGGHT!

Compared to this time last year, are you:
happier or sadder?
much much happier!
thinner or fatter? the same I believe
richer or poorer? poorer....thank you for being a $899,768,000, tuition.

What do you wish you’d done more of?
Dancing and socializing!

What do you wish you’d done less of?
Worrying, being pitiful, and eating...haha.

How did you spend Christmas?
All my siblings, Momma and Daddy, cuties nieces, awesome cousins, aunts, and uncles!

What were your favorite films of the year?
I didn't really go to movies haha. Water for Elephants was really good but super sad :(

What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I
I turned 18...and to be completely honest I don't even remember my birthday!!!! It was on a Monday so I'm sure I just went to school, I didn't even get a cake!!

What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
If Ryan Gosling would have just proposed to me already! Sheesh. Also if my room was like 10 square feet bigger. Haha

How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2011?
Pretty jeans! Sparkles, flowers, and flowy tops! The last month was spent in sweat pants though basically...gross.....

What kept you sane? My sisters and parents, Stephanie, Jacoba, Angie, and Ashlee at the beginning and at college lovely Jordyn and Ashlee and having Brianna's house to escape to!

Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2011.
There are too many good people in this world to waste time trying to get the bad ones to care!
