Let me just start things out with a little countdown:
1 week until Valentine's day.
1 month until I am 19.
3 months until I am no longer a Freshman in college.
4.5 months until Miss Megan's and my California adventure.
With all of this excitement coming up I can't help but think that maybe countdowns aren't such a good thing, though. I mean, at any given point in anyone's life, there is always something they are looking forward to. Which is great, because that means great things are to come! But maybe we need to just look at the now and see how great it is. Everyone is stressed about something and not every day is as lovely as we'd like it to be, but everyone has something to look at and smile about. Even if it's "Hey! The sun came up today and the atmosphere didn't burst while I was sleeping to cause a lack of oxygen in the world so I can still breathe!"
Haha...but seriously. There's always something good.
So now to counteract my countdown (which I know I bashed, but they are still fun! :)) I will make a list of the lovely things about right NOW:
I get to have a sleepover with my best friend every night now that we live together.
I met the loveliest person the other day that has put me in just the greatest mood lately.
My room is clean!
There were no spontaneous fire alarms while I was asleep last night.
I have the best brother, two sisters, parents, and nieces and nephews anyone could ask for!
Thanks to jergen's natural glow I am looking down at some pretty tan arms :)
Jeans that were tight at the beginning of the year are fitting quite loosely today!
God has blessed me with a beautiful life, and no matter what happens, will always be a constant in my life.
And though it is extremely cold outside, the sun is shining!!
